Kabe Original, Serrated
The Kabe Original Serrated is a further development of the Kabe Original with serrated rubber strips for even better scraping capacity and anti-slip protection. According to SP, Technical Research Institute of Sweden, the mat is 13.5% more effective against dirt and grit. The corrugated rubber strips bend easily when trod on and spring back with sufficient force when the pressure is being released to sweep dirt and moisture from shoes by simply walking over the mat. In addition, because the mat is the same on both sides, drainage and run-off are improved by the serrations on the reverse side.
The entrance mat can be rolled up, handmade in Sweden for the last 75 years and has a 6-year guarantee. Moreover, the mat is 100% recyclable – our way of contributing to a more sustainable world. The Kabe Original is made to measure in any size. Max. size of a single piece 2000 x 5000 mm (A x B). To cover larger areas, the mat is divided into suitably sized sections. We manufacture mats in almost any shape. Provide us with a drawing or template. Under 400 mm for A-dimension, there is an additional set-up cost.
RECYCLING
Kabe Original Serrated is 100% recyclable.

Aluminium alloy, EN AW-6005-A-T6.

RUBBER STRIP
A composition that is especially resistant to extreme temperature variations, EPDM 70° Shore. Dimensions 22 x 3.7 mm.
END PROFILE
U 18 x 18 x 2 mm.
ASSEMBLY
The rubber strips and aluminium bars are riveted together with special rivets. The mat is held together by Ø 2.3 mm stainless steel wire.
REINFORCEMENT
Kabe Original entrance mats are reinforced with rubber bushes.
SURFACE TREATMENT
Kabe Original entrance mats come in natural aluminium as standard but can also be provided in black or gold anodised aluminium.

INSTALLATION
Generally speaking, all types of mat should always be laid on a level, solid surface.
Install on level, solid surface recessed in the floor using kerb angle frame Kabe 20R or, alternatively Kabe 22R, or on-floor in Kabe mat ramp, type 2.
Always state measurements A = width and B = length with specifications and when ordering.
CARE
The mat is designed with identical surfaces and should be reversed at least once a year, for maximum service life. No chemicals are needed to clean the mat – only water.

Create guide paths and creative patterns in Kabe Original entrance mats using tactile inserts, which are available in white and fluorescent green. The inserts fasten easily in the mat.
REINFORCEMENT
The reinforced version of the Kabe Original entrance mat is recommended if the mat is to be placed in environments where there is wheeled traffic or sloping floors combined with studs in the substrate.
