Kabex Special Grids
The Kabex Special Grid is a cantilevered, hardwearing, grid in hot-dip galvanised steel for external use. The scraper grid is high-heel friendly and suitable in all entrances where you want an almost self-servicing, dirt collection function in a deeper recess. During the winter, the Kabex Special Grid makes an especially good combination with the Kabe Original entrance mat. Kabex Special Grids are also available with ribbed rubber scraper and anti-slip strips for improved dirt removal and protection against slipping.
The grid is manufactured 25 mm high as standard, but it can be supplied in heights 20-50 mm in 5 mm intervals. It can also be provided with adjustable support legs, 135-235 mm vertical height from ground to top edge of the grid. Kabex Special Grids can support loads up to 500 kg/m².

WEIGHT
Approximately 22 kg/m² (height 25 mm) for grid with steel profile.

20 to 50 mm at intervals of 5 mm.
GRID SIZE
Made to measure, max. 1486 x 1000 mm (A x B) in one piece. To cover larger areas, the grid is divided into suitably sized sections. Standard size 25 mm is kept in stock, matching the stock kerb angle frames Kabe 25RS.
For quicker delivery, it can be a good idea for larger areas to try combining a number of stocked standard grids.

INSTALLATION
Alternative 1: Install on level, solid surface recessed in the floor using kerb angle frame Kabe 25R or on the floor in Kabe mat ramp, type 2. EM-grids are only to be installed recessed in the floor with the kerb angle frame Kabe 25R.
Alternative 2: Installed cantilevered over deeper recess using kerb angle frame Kabe 25R.
Always state measurements A = width and B = length with specifications and when ordering.
CARE
Lift up the grid and remove the dirt when required. The grid does not need any care.
